Lower Abdominal Exercises

August 20th, 2008

Everyone wants
to get a sexy flat 6 pack abs, yet it seems to be the most difficult part of
the body to lose weight and gain muscle. Your abdominal area consists of three
muscle groups, the upper abs, lower abs and the oblique muscles.

Lower abs
muscles are the hardest to train primarily because not many exercises
specifically target your lower abdominal muscles. Here are some
lower abdominal exercises you can try at home.

Double leg
lifts. Lie on your back, hands under your buttocks, palm facing the floor. Then
lift your legs up vertically 90 degrees. Lower them after a few seconds.
Slowly, reduce the angle of your legs against the floor until they are only a
few inches off the floor. Repeat this 5 to 8 times.

Side Effects of Clenbuterol Weight Loss

August 19th, 2008

Clenbuterol is quite a common drug used in weight loss treatments and while it is very effective it does have some serious side effects; particularly for dieters and sports people who take it without checking with their doctor first. Should you make up your mind that this is the weight loss treatment for you, there are a few details you need to know before you even approach your doctor about it. Firstly and most importantly, as yet it has not received approval by the United States FDA to be used although most other countries in the world do permit its use.

Up until quite recently the only use medicine had for Clenbuterol was for treating respiratory disorders; however, sports people discovered it helped them lose weight and develop their muscles. The effect that is demonstrated by its use is more reminiscent on ephedra than a typical steroid. The way Clenbuterol works on a persons system is by increasing the flow of blood and their metabolic rate, which in turn burns unwanted fat.

Eliminating as much body fat as possible in order to improve the effectiveness of muscles is every athletes dream but to do this it has to affect certain hormones like adrenalin, dopamine and noradrenalin. The dosage when given by a doctor will be small, gradually building it up in order for the body to become accustomed to the increase in metabolic rate. A person using it as a weight loss treatment should be aware that they may end up suffering with terrible headaches, shakes and also have insomnia as well.

The other fact about using Clenbuterol is it is only designed to be used for short periods of three to four weeks then it must be stopped for about four weeks before re-starting the course; the body will only lose weight quickly for short periods before the drug produces no effect. Although it may be popular, it is rarely promoted by doctors or other dietary specialist as it is considered harmful. The purpose of knowing the side-effects is not just to warn a person away from using this drug but if they are set on using it they can guard against the side-effects.

Even though Clenbuterol comes with many dangerous side-effects it continues to be popular amongst people desperate to lose weight the easy way so it may be around for some time yet. If you see a specialist and have a healthy diet and exercise regime worked out for you, this is a far healthier option than drugs that cause damaging side-effects. The easy option is rarely the healthiest and anyone considering using the drug should think very carefully about it.

Are You Ready For A Lifestyle Change?

August 19th, 2008

We are reaching epidemic obesity problems in America and the danger to your health is growing daily. Many of the most serious diseases affecting our country are directly caused by obesity. And, most of these are preventable, including: diabetes, cancer, arthritis and high blood pressure. You will be able to remedy and control these diseases by losing weight.

Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there’s more to fast, healthy weight loss than you may have first thought. Quick weight loss methods may work for a time but they don’t give you lasting results. Oftentimes fad diets, which seem to be extremely abundant nowadays, will not have the permanent effect you are seeking. Very quick weight loss seems to be so satisfying but the happiness is fleeting (kinda like my first spouse).

A healthy, lifestyle change, NOT a diet, will offer you lifetime results that you can keep up and not berate yourself for “falling off the wagon” (so to speak).

Consider This
It’s really a good idea to probe a little deeper into the subject of healthy weight loss. What you learn may give you the confidence you need to venture into new areas.

It’s silly to starve yourself as you may lose the weight quickly but you won’t keep it off. Starvation is NOT a lasting method to staying in shape. The key to losing weight and keeping if off is do NOT diet! Make a lifestyle change for the better. You may lose weight fast if you starve but your body will not tolerate this for any length of time as you need food to keep up the energy you use every day.

If your body gets accustomed to you skipping several meals a day, your stored calories will be used up instead of the energy that would have been provided by eating properly proportioned meals. Then you go and eat one HUGE meal because you’re so hungry, and where does it immediately land …. on your hips, on your bottom, on your belly! Exactly where you don’t want it.

Starving yourself is NOT the answer. You have to change your way of thinking. There are better and healthier ways to lose weight and keep it off for your lifetime.

Statistics Say It’s Time to Lose Weight

August 19th, 2008

The numbers don’t lie, many of us need to lose weight and adopt a healthy weight loss fitness program.Across most counties of the developed Western world, obesity is fast becoming one of the greatest public health challenges of the 21st century. For example, according to the World Health Organization, its prevalence has tripled in many European countries since the 1980s, and the numbers of those affected continues to rise at an almost unbelievable rate, especially amongst children.

Obesity is already responsible for 2-8% of health costs and 10-13% of deaths in different parts of the European region. And the picture in the USA is, if anything, considerably worse! Nearly four out of every 10 adults in the USA will be obese within the next five years if people keep packing on pounds at the current rate, obviously
putting their health at very serious risk.

How Do Carbohydrate Blockers Work With Atkins’ Diet

August 19th, 2008

If you are following Atkins’ diet, how does carbohydrate blockers benefit you? Atkins’ diet and carbohydrate blockers do not work the same way. The idea of Atkins’ diet is to consume low amounts of carbs. However, some people feel that carb blockers allow them to cheat on the Atkins’ diet, giving them some freedom to enjoy a little bit more carbohydrate foods than recommended. You should know that there is a limit to how much carb blockers can reduce carbohydrates in the body. If you eat too much carbohydrates, carb blockers may not be able to reduce them significantly and your low carb diet will not work. Starch blockers can help your Atkins’ diet only when taken occasionally, like when you have a social event or a sudden craving.

If you are considering to buy Dietrine Carb Blocker, you may be making a mistake or a good decision. I say this because a majority of people who bought Dietrine Carb Blocker with Phase 2 don’t really know what it did for them. So, before you buy it is advisable to read the Dietrine review.

Quick Weight Loss Tips For The Best Ways To Lose Weight

August 19th, 2008

The sedentary lifestyle of today is conducive to weight gain. That’s inarguable. Nevertheless, everyone has a different opinion on how to lose the weight.

One of the liver’s main functions is to convert stored fat into energy. For this reason, it’s important that your liver is always functioning at its best. Assisting dehydrated kidneys with their performance is another job of the liver. To keep your liver concentrating on converting fat into energy, drink more water. In order to maintain a healthy body, water consumption is critical. Bottom line: consume fewer drinks that cause dehydration and drink more water.

Just existing requires the expending of calories. Energy is required every hour of the day, regardless of what we do. That’s something almost everyone knows. A lot of people don’t know, however, that your resting metabolic rate is dictated by the amount of your body’s muscle. If you increase your muscle mass, even by a tiny amount, you increase your resting metabolic rate, which means you will constantly burn more calories throughout the day.

Two or three hours a day lifting weights at the gym is not necessary to increase your metabolism. Do you have that kind of time to invest?
